#1 There has been a substantial increase in developmental challenges in children over recent years and it’s becoming one of the biggest growing concerns facing the early learning sector.
#2 In recent months the inclusion support scheme needed a top up as the fund was exhausted in the first 6 months.
#3 This is a very challenging reality for staff and centers who do not have the training and are not equipped to be identifying and managing this at scale.
This bootcamp empowers all staff with the knowledge, know-how and the tools necessary to readily identify children with suspected developmental delays.

OF PARENTTV
HOST
Sam Jockel started her career as a social worker and first launched into the digital world in 2010 when she started her first Facebook community for parents which grew from nothing to over 170,000 followers and counting. In 2012 she co-founded Social Media Agency Good Funny Smart and established another online community called School Mum which has grown to over 460, 000 followers. In 2017 she ventured into the tech startup world and launched ParentTV as a video streaming platform personalising parenting advice from the world's leading research-based parenting experts direct to parents via any digital device. After managing online communities with over 650,000 parents Sam became aware of how overwhelming information can be for parents on the internet. It's hard to know what is legitimate evidence-based advice and what is opinion. ParentTV was born out of this need for a high quality video streaming platform bringing together credible parenting educators from all over the world ensuring research backed advice for parents on demand.
The Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) is a not-for-profit, member-funded organisation advocating for the future of Australia’s children. We work on behalf of early learning service providers to ensure families and their children have an opportunity to access affordable, high quality early learning services throughout Australia.
The ACA has existed in various forms for more than 30 years and has extensive experience in the fields of early learning, training and management. Our experience means that we understand the critical role a quality early learning program plays in the life of families and the importance of a viable long day care sector in preparing children for the best start in life and learning. We work with Federal and State Governments, regulatory authorities and other key sector stakeholders to ensure that families are supported into the future with a sustainable, affordable and viable early learning sector.
